We are seeking a "Red Hat OpenShift Engineer" to support a federal client. The engineer must have a strong background in container orchestration, platform management, and cloud-native applications, with hands-on experience in managing and deploying applications on OpenShift clusters.

Primary Duties

• Deploy, manage and scale Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters -- 25%
• Configure, manage and monitor containerized applications running on Kubernetes or OpenShift -- 20%
• Automate cluster provisioning, configuration and deployment pipelines using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Helm -- 25%
• Integrate Kubernetes/OpenShift with CICD deployment tools iike Jenkins, Maven, GitHub -- 15%
• Document and troubleshoot issues with containerized applications -- 15%

Required Skills/Level of Experience

• Managing and administering OpenShift clusters -- 5 years
• Proficiency in scripting languages (KSH, Bash, Python) -- 4 years
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) -- 4 years
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven) -- 4 years
