Job summary

Arvest Bank is seeking a Real Estate Division (RED) Facilities Specialist 2 to manage complex maintenance issues, coordinate minor remodels, and train new hires within the regional team. The role requires ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operation of bank facilities.

Based at Bentonville, AR, the position involves on-site work, after-hours on-call rotation, and travel within the US as needed. A strong maintenance background and a valid driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
  • 4 years experience in maintenance
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Intermediate computer knowledge
  • Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the project coordinator for minor remodel projects and large-scale repairs.
  • Ensure all Emergency Evacuation Plans are executed according to applicable regulations and maintained within the designated location.
  • Track daily tasks and implement or close out work orders within the automation system.
  • Pull reports to identify ongoing issues with equipment and provide recommendations for service or repair.
  • Prepare and submit monthly expense reports for timely payment of the company's purchase card.
  • Partner with Facilities Specialist 1 to perform monthly internal and external inspections of the facility to ensure operations are maintained efficiently. Escalate concerns as necessary.
  • Maintain an inventory and control the distribution of access keys according to established guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain complex building systems such as HVAC controls, Fire Sprinkler Systems, and backflow prevention systems. Troubleshoot complex issues within systems or seek external expertise when necessary.
  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance to sprinkler systems and backflow prevention systems rendered by external vendors.
  • Provide backup support and be able to perform all duties of a Facility Specialist 1 when necessary.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to respond to after-hours emergencies and break-fix as needed based on Region’s discretion.
  • Ensure all work meets Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures and compliance and regulation standards.
  • Assist the Supervisor with coordinating and providing process, procedure, safety, new product, new equipment, and daily tasks training within the team.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties.

Availability is needed Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.

Job Title: Real Estate Division (RED) Facilities Specialist 2

The RED Facilities Specialist 2 at Arvest safely, efficiently and cost effectively handles complex maintenance issues, requests, and major repairs to ensure the proper functioning of buildings, equipment, and systems. They coordinate minor remodel projects for their region and provide training and support to new hires within their team.

What You’ll Do at Arvest:

This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Physical Demands:

The associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be able to travel frequently by themselves within the US, including overnight. Associates must be able to navigate a construction site and access all areas of a facility. This includes but is not limited to the ability to work in and around all facilities spaces: below grade, rooftop, penthouse, unfinished spaces, crawl spaces and which access to may require climbing a ladder or using a lift.
