Job summary

ALLCPR is seeking an Instructor Trainer to lead ARC First Aid/CPR/AED instructor courses, train candidates to become ARC instructors, and ensure sessions meet ARC standards. The role requires preparing sessions, demonstrating techniques, and evaluating candidate proficiency.

The position is in-person in Portland, OR, and focuses on delivering high-quality training, updating materials, and maintaining compliance with ARC requirements.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Trainer certification.
• Strong knowledge of CPR and AED techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare and deliver effective training sessions.
• Attention to detail and time-management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor courses.
• Deliver instructor-level trainings to individuals or groups.
• Demonstrate proper CPR/AED techniques that comply with American Red Cross requirements.
• Provide feedback to candidates to help them improve their performance.
• Monitor and evaluate candidate progress to ensure proficiency.
• Complete and submit course records in accordance with American Red Cross requirements.
• Ensure training materials are up-to-date and comply with relevant program requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with CPR and AED training best practices.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and candidates.
