Seminole County Public Schools Red Apple Dining has an exciting opportunity for an assistant manager at a middle school campus restaurant. This dynamic professional will assist in all operations related to running a federal Child Nutrition Program meal service, and must communicate clearly with students, staff and guests.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of dining service experience, a valid Florida driver’s license, and ServSafe certification (or plan to obtain within six months

Seminole County Public Schools Red Apple Dining has an exciting opportunity for an assistant manager at a middle school campus restaurant. This dynamic professional will be responsible for assisting in all operations related to managing a restaurant within the federal guidelines of Child Nutrition Programs. This position requires the ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with internal and external guests. A demonstrated ability to lead, develop team members and provide exceptional guest service is expected. The position will require an individual who excels in a progressive team environment. Experience and understanding of the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program is highly desirable.

Seminole County Public Schools uses the statewide screening database, Care Provider Clearinghouse to determine the eligibility of prospective employees. The Care Provider Clearinghouse is administered by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) for background screening results for persons screened for employment or licensure that provide services to children, the elderly and disabled individuals. The Clearinghouse allows the results of criminal history checks to be shared among participating agencies, reducing duplication and costs; including more up to date information and on-line tracking of the screening process.
