Seminole County Public Schools Red Apple Dining has an exciting opportunity for an assistant manager at an elementary school campus restaurant. This role supports all restaurant operations under federal Child Nutrition guidelines and requires strong verbal and written communication to Guests and staff.

The position emphasizes leadership, guest service, and teamwork, with desirable knowledge of the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program and a starting salary of $24,329.

Qualifications

• One year of dining service experience.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
• ServSafe certification or certification within six months of hire.
• High School Diploma or equivalence or Florida Special Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all operations related to managing a campus restaurant under Child Nutrition Programs.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external guests, verbally and in writing.
• Lead and develop team members and provide exceptional guest service.
• Excel in a progressive team environment; knowledge of Breakfast/Lunch programs is desirable.

Seminole County Public Schools Red Apple Dining has an exciting opportunity for an assistant manager at an elementary school campus restaurant. This dynamic professional will be responsible for assisting in all operations related to managing a restaurant within the federal guidelines of Child Nutrition Programs. This position requires the ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with internal and external guests. A demonstrated ability to lead, develop team members and provide exceptional guest service is expected. The position will require an individual who excels in a progressive team environment. Experience and understanding of the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program is highly desirable.

Seminole County Public Schools uses the statewide screening database, Care Provider Clearinghouse to determine the eligibility of prospective employees. The Care Provider Clearinghouse is administered by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) for background screening results for persons screened for employment or licensure that provide services to children, the elderly and disabled individuals.
