Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in St Marys, WV is seeking a Recycling Associate to operate grinding equipment on scrap material and support our recycling operations to improve processing and reduce waste.

This full‑time day shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with potential 12‑hour 2‑2‑3 schedule) emphasizes safety, teamwork, and accurate inventory; training and benefits start from day one. You will sort contaminants, assist with maintenance, and help other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Able to stand on concrete flooring for extended periods.
• Capable of reaching, bending and climbing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment on scrap material to support recycling operations.
• Sort window plant cutoffs by color and inspect for non-grindable contaminants.
• Assist with preventative maintenance of grinding equipment.
• Load and unload scrap trailers and move materials with fork truck or pallet jack.
• Maintain inventory systems accuracy and support safety rules on site.
• Collaborate with team and other departments as required.
