Job summary

Quad in Martinsburg, WV seeks motivated, detail‑oriented individuals for a recycling plant role. The job offers daytime hours, 40 hours weekly, with starting pay of $18–$21 per hour based on experience and stability.

Responsibilities include coordinating materials, removing recyclables, operating baling/shredding systems, and loading trucks. Prior forklift experience preferred; on‑the‑job training available. Overtime possible.

Qualifications

• Must be able to accurately complete billing and shipping forms.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and write; good verbal and written comprehension.
• The ability to multi-task and prioritize job needs.
• Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Daytime hours, working 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to climb ladders above 12 feet with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate materials to be recycled within the plant using forklift or tugger.
• Remove recyclables from around the plant and deposit into the recycling system.
• Operate the baling and shredding system.
• Sort and store recyclables by grade for shipment.
• Load semi-trailer and rail cars for dispatch.
• Complete basic billing and service order forms.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
• Maintain clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
