Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Recycle Technician to support recycle, reuse, and reclamation programs. You will perform essential duties in a safety-forward environment, collaborating with team members to sort materials, maintain logs, and ensure proper use of PPE.

The role emphasizes customer service alignment, environmental reporting, and task training completion. Shifts are Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-4:00 PM with hourly pay in the listed range.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED, recycling experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus; valid driver’s license may be required.
• Forklift certification and Hazardous Waste Handling training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.

• Maintain clean work area.

• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• Understand reporting systems and importance of the environment.
• Collect, salvage, and sort reusable or recycle materials or waste materials.
• Inspect and sort materials.
• Maintain dock and collection areas.
• Work with multiple collection containers.
