Job summary

Radius Recycling, Inc. seeks a Recycling Operations Facility Manager II to lead steel scrap yard operations at the Meridian, MS facility.

You will oversee safety, production, maintenance, inventory control, and coordination with commercial groups to meet volume targets. Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, managing budgets, guiding project initiatives, and supervising exempt and hourly staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in steel scrap yard operations.
• College degree preferred; courses in business/operations management helpful.
• Knowledge of operations leadership, analytics, organization, communication, and mathematical skills; intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and maintenance in all departments.
• Ensure negotiated production levels are met and maintained for all departments.
• Forecast monthly production with General Manager and Commercial group to meet facility goals.
• Spearhead Continuous Improvement for the facility.
• Review maintenance procedures and records for production equipment.
• Investigate operational data for accuracy and validity.
• Assess the effectiveness of transportation and other sub-contractors.
