Job summary

The City of McAllen is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform manual labor involved with sorting and baling recyclable material. Under immediate supervision, you will conduct maintenance and minor repairs on conveyor and equipment, and may be assigned a variety of tasks that are easy to learn.

Job description

Under immediate supervision, the Maintenance Worker performs manual labor involved with sorting and/or baling recyclable material. Employee will perform maintenance and minor repairs on conveyor and equipment. Employee may be assigned a variety of tasks; all areas are easy to learn. Employee has no responsibilities for reports or records. Employee must abide by all safety rules and regulations.
