Job summary

WasteFree is seeking a reliable, self-motivated driver to join our recycling team in Dallas. This part-time role runs on a single Wednesday night shift, operating a U-Haul truck to service routes and ensure timely collection of recyclables.

The ideal candidate works independently, thrives outdoors at night, and takes pride in keeping communities clean. We provide all equipment, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow into additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving large vehicles or box trucks preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working outdoors at night in varying weather conditions.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Prior waste, recycling, or logistics experience is a plus — but not required.

You'll be behind the wheel of a U-Haul truck every Wednesday evening, servicing our recycling routes and ensuring materials are collected efficiently and on time.

• Drive an assigned U-Haul truck along designated Wednesday night recycling routes
• Collect and load recyclable materials
• Verify and document all collection stops completed during the shift
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
