The City of Weslaco is seeking a Recycling Center attendant to provide customer service at the Recycling Center, handle recyclable materials, and assist with drop-offs and pickups at facilities and vendors. The role requires working beyond normal hours during events and emergencies, with a focus on safe operation of light equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of related experience, and a valid Class C driver's license with insurance

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in the field.
• Must have a current valid Class "C" Driver's License and be insurable.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver and pick up containers and trailers to participants in the city's recycling program at various city buildings and parks.
• Oversee the Recycling Center during operational hours and assist incoming customers as needed.
• Deliver recyclable items to corresponding vendors.
• Maintain Recycling Center, equipment, and vehicles.
• Oversee the recycling program during special events.
• May be required to work beyond normal business hours at night and/or on weekends.

Formação académica

High school diploma or equivalent

1–3 years experience in the field

Valid Class C Driver's License
