Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Recycling Center Maintenance Supervisor to lead a technician team in maintaining fixed and mobile equipment and facilities. You will plan repairs, schedule work, and ensure safety and timely completion of tasks on site and on the road.

The role requires at least 3 years maintenance experience in related industries and 1 year supervisory experience, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years maintenance experience in recycling/transportation/disposal or related industry.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in lead technician or management role with safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervises technicians in maintenance shop and conducts daily debriefs.
• Coaches and counsels staff on performance and corrective action when necessary.
• Ensures safety compliance per DOT/OSHA and company procedures.
• Oversees maintenance shop inventory and budget-adherent purchasing.
• Reviews expenses within scope and refers major items to management as needed.
