Job description

Recycle Plant Process Engineer

This position will be based in Wilmington, OH and will also support the Indianapolis, IN plant.

Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Work as part of the AZEK team to continually improve standards of operation.
  • Responsible for running trials to validate new processes/equipment/materials.
  • Integrates Lean/Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement in all projects.
  • Work with plant maintenance and operations in troubleshooting plant issues.
  • Responsible for leading various project related to continuous improvement of equipment and processes within the manufacturing area.
  • Responsible for monitoring operational efficiency metrics (i.e. through put, scrap rates, etc.) to recommend changes and/or corrective actions to continue to meet operational goals.
  • Work with EHS on implementing safety improvements throughout the plant.
  • Manage small CAPEX projects
  • Provides training to production and maintenance staff as required.
  • Assist with and where required to lead new project development activity.
  • Assist in the set-up of new equipment and processes

We believe the successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree of Science in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2 - 5 years of related experience.
  • Strong computer skills include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $89,500 in our lowest market up to $107,600 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
