• Be familiar with hydraulics and pneumatics or willingness to learn.
• Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing, effectively.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate, educate and coach new team members.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and clean workplace - The foundry goal is zero lost time accident and no housekeeping (audit) complaints.
• Quality Performance - The foundry goal is zero discrepancies at the user plants, process checklists will be utilized to monitor and track process stability
• Uptime improvements - The foundry goal is 90% equipment utilization.
• To maintain oxide levels that meet or exceed the standards specified by the customer.
• Scrap and material utilization - Dross and other melt losses are to be weekly, target < 7.0% melt loss.

Primary Purpose of Position

To work within the Die Cast Department to efficiently and effectively set-up and operate equipment within a die cast cell to ensure a quality product is produced and delivered that consistently satisfies or exceeds our customer's expectation.

Responsibilities
