Job summary

City Personnel, Rhode Island's leading staffing and recruitment agency, is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join our Providence team. You will source, screen, and place candidates across industries, building strong client and job seeker relationships to connect Rhode Islanders with meaningful careers.

Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on experience, plus benefits. City Personnel offers extended interview hours from 7 am-7 pm upon request.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting or staffing required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with phone-based outreach and candidate sourcing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Source and screen candidates for a variety of open positions across multiple industries.
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and fit.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, networking, and referrals.
• Partner with clients to understand hiring needs and provide qualified candidate matches promptly.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, offer negotiations, and onboarding logistics.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records within the ATS.
• Provide a positive, professional experience for candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process.
