We are searching for two motivated individuals to join our New York office as legal recruitment consultants. You will be working alongside some of the leading consultants in the legal search market, in one of the world’s leading legal search companies.

About the role

The role offers outstanding career progression and the opportunity to work on high-profile associate attorney opportunities in a collaborative environment.

We are looking for ambitious, commercially minded people who are comfortable spending a significant amount of time on the phone building relationships and developing business.

On a day-to-day basis, you will engage law firm clients to secure and then undertake recruitment assignments by sourcing qualified legal professionals in a ‘full 360’ recruitment process.

This role is to work in our market-leading private practice team. The team works for a range of US and international law firms and operates at the very top of the market.

With access to some of the very best relationships across the market and real-time training that is second to none, this is a rare and truly exciting opportunity. The intention is that you will become a consultant with a full candidate and client contact in a short period of time. You will have access to MRA’s client list and contacts and can earn significant commission from day one.

Requirements:

• No legal recruitment experience is required—we're more interested in attitude, resilience, communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• Be interested in developing your career in the recruitment industry and have an appetite to be part of an ambitious and growing enterprise.
• Maintain a ferocious work ethic and exhibit tenacity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoy building relationships and be passionate about working in a team-based, professional, and high-performance culture that rewards, recognises and celebrates success.
