We are seeking a motivated and experienced Recruiting Associate to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of recruiting and talent acquisition experience and will be responsible for managing the hiring process from candidate sourcing through onboarding.
This is a high-priority position, and we are looking for someone who can join the team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, social media, and other recruiting channels.
- Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure timely follow-up throughout the recruitment process.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Assist with offer preparation, background checks, and pre-employment processes.
- Support onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Monitor recruiting activities and provide regular updates on hiring progress.
- Help improve recruiting processes and identify new sources and strategies for attracting qualified talent.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information.
- Perform other HR and recruiting-related duties as needed.
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of professional recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting and candidate sourcing practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with hiring managers and team members.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or recruiting and applicant-tracking systems (ATS).
- Professional judgment and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Korean communication skills strongly preferred.
- Experience recruiting bilingual or multicultural candidates.
- Experience working in a fast-paced corporate or professional environment.
- Existing recruiting network or experience with multiple sourcing channels.
