Job description

The Recruiting Partner provides on-the-ground operational support for recruiting across an assigned region. This role takes full ownership of the regional pipeline and partners directly with Market Leaders/Managing Directors and the Recruiting Manager to attract, assess, and hire top talent.

The Recruiting Partner is the day-to-day connection between candidates, Market Leaders/Managing Directors, and the broader Recruiting team — owning candidate experience, application health, marketing partnership, and the cadence that keeps recruiting on track across both associate and experienced agent pipelines. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a master communicator, exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leading regional execution with a high degree of autonomy.

In-office role in Nashville, TN.

Pipeline Management & Recruiting Operations
  • Own the regional recruiting pipeline — application flow, candidate status, and overall pipeline health across both associate and experienced agent tracks.
  • Run weekly or bi-weekly recruiting meetings with Market Leaders/Managing Directors to review pipeline, applicants, offers, and upcoming events.
  • Coordinate interviews and offer letters on behalf of Market Leaders/Managing Directors.
  • Enter new data, clean up existing data, and pull reports across all pipelines, with emphasis on the experienced agent recruiting data.
  • Track recruiting goals and help Market Leaders/Managing Directors reach their hiring targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and deliver regular pipeline updates to the Recruiting Manager.
Applicant Quality & Demand Generation
  • Drive a high volume of qualified applicants to offices within the assigned region through proactive sourcing, targeted outreach, and strategic use of job boards, paid advertising, and campus channels.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each office’s hiring profile, culture, and Market Leader preferences to ensure candidates presented are a strong fit for the role.
  • Monitor application flow and conversion rates within the region; identify drop-off points and implement strategies to improve pipeline health and offer acceptance rates.
  • Partner with Marketing to execute regional campaigns that elevate the Matthews™ brand and generate awareness among target candidate pools.
Experienced Agent Recruiting
  • Work with key stakeholders to plan experienced agent office visits, platform presentations, and schedule calls with Managing Directors and other key executives in the recruiting process.
  • Understand and communicate key information to senior recruits, highlighting the functions and agent support of the recruiting and training department.
  • Support the Recruiting Manager and Sales Leadership on LOI drafting, offer facilitation, and pipeline reporting for the experienced agent track.
  • Manage the regional campus recruiting program — Handshake, career fairs, speaking engagements, and class presentations.
  • Support planning and coordination of career fairs, including logistics, outreach, and event-day execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with college career centers, faculty, and student organizations within the region.
  • Support Market Leaders/Managing Directors with outreach strategies and speaking engagements at target schools.
Marketing & Brand Visibility
  • Partner with Marketing on regional brand visibility, including university graphics, career fair materials, job board postings, and sponsored content.
  • Assist with planning and execution of social activities for recruiting events (e.g., happy hours, open houses, campus events).
Technology & AI Innovation
  • Embrace and actively utilize AI tools, recruiting technology, and automation to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and increase the scale of recruiting activity across the region.
  • Serve as an active contributor to the ongoing innovation of the Matthews™ recruiting platform — sharing feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement, and piloting new tools and workflows in partnership with the Recruiting Manager.
  • Maintain proficiency in all department systems (iCIMS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, and others as introduced) and stay current on emerging tools and best practices in recruiting technology.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 1–2 years of relevant recruiting, HR, sales coordination, or related experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, OneNote, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions and execute efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel domestically for recruiting events and campus visits.
Preferred
  • Highly effective communicator with the professionalism and business acumen to interact with candidates, universities, hiring managers, and senior leaders.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of current sourcing and recruiting trends, best practices, and methodologies.
  • Experience with iCIMS, Handshake, LinkedIn Recruiter, or comparable ATS and sourcing platforms.
  • Experience recruiting for sales-driven or production-oriented organizations.
  • Background in commercial real estate, financial services, or other commission-based industries.
