WHC FL, LLC in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Recruiting Manager who can lead recruiting and onboarding across the organization, build strong candidate relationships, and develop innovative hiring strategies to support growth and operational excellence.

You will own the full recruitment lifecycle, engage with community partners and hiring managers, and promote a positive candidate experience while guiding staffing success and employee retention.

What You'll Do as a Recruiting Manager:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates across multiple departments and positions
• Source candidates through online job boards, social media, employee referrals, workforce partnerships, and community outreach initiatives
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs
• Represent the company at career fairs, recruiting events, networking opportunities, and community functions
• Promote the company's culture, career opportunities, and benefits to prospective candidates
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment solutions

Candidate Experience & Onboarding

• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process
• Ensure a positive, professional, and engaging candidate experience from first contact through onboarding
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements, background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding documentation
• Partner with department leaders and training teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
• Conduct orientation and onboarding activities as needed
• Maintain consistent and effective communication with candidates and newly hired employees

Employee Engagement & Retention Support

• Collaborate with leadership teams to support employee retention initiatives
• Conduct follow-up check-ins with new hires during the onboarding period
• Gather employee feedback and identify opportunities to improve recruitment and retention efforts
• Assist in developing programs that enhance employee satisfaction and engagement
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and people-focused workplace culture
• Support recognition programs and initiatives that celebrate employee achievements

Workforce Planning & Recruitment Analytics

• Monitor staffing needs, recruitment trends, and labor market conditions to support business goals
• Track recruiting metrics, hiring activity, retention rates, and workforce forecasts
• Prepare recruitment reports and provide regular updates to leadership
• Recommend process improvements to enhance hiring efficiency, candidate quality, and recruitment effectiveness
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking and recruitment records
• Collaborate with management on long-term workforce planning strategies

Leadership & Collaboration

• Partner closely with operations, department leaders, and executive leadership to meet hiring objectives
• Build relationships with community organizations, workforce agencies, colleges, and educational institutions
• Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns
• Contribute recruitment best practices that strengthen hiring and retention outcomes
• Serve as a trusted recruitment resource and advisor to hiring managers
• Assist in developing recruiting processes, training, and talent acquisition programs that support organizational growth

Qualifications for a Recruiting Manager:

• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, operations, transportation, or a related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
