Job summary

CRST The Transportation Solution, Inc. invites students to join our Summer Internship Program as a Recruiting Intern on the Human Resources team in Cedar Rapids, IA.

You will support recruiting activities, engage candidates, assist with analytics, and learn from senior leaders while building professional skills. Applicants should be pursuing a degree in HR, business, or related fields, have strong communication, organization, and learning agility, and be enrolled for the summer internship.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruiting Support: assist with day-to-day recruiting activities, candidate tracking and coordination.
• Candidate Experience: support communications, interview coordination, and hiring events.
• Sourcing Support: help identify and research potential candidates via platforms and networks.
• Recruiting Analytics: assist with recruiting reports, dashboards, and data analysis.
• Employment Branding: support job postings and recruitment marketing efforts.
• Applicant Processing: assist with application review, background screening, and hiring processes.
• Project Participation: support recruiting initiatives through research and coordination.
• Process Improvement: identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and candidate experience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with HR partners and stakeholders to support hiring objectives.
• Professional Development: participate in learning opportunities and meetings to build recruiting knowledge.
• Adaptability: learn recruiting systems and processes while supporting assigned work.
• Senior Leadership Exposure: present project results to senior leaders at period-end.
• Accountability and Reliability: maintain regular attendance and support team needs.
