Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator for our office in Southport, IN. This temporary-to-permanent position offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with pay ranging from $18 to $21 per hour.

Responsibilities include supporting the recruiting team through hiring and onboarding, screening applicants, coordinating orientations, and maintaining records. Ideal candidates have recruiting experience and a High School diploma or GED.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to maintain effectiveness during change
• Computer literacy – proficient on Microsoft Office Suite, Google Mail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist recruiting team with hiring and onboarding process including administrative tasks
• Answer phones in a professional manner by assisting callers and directing calls as necessary
• Assist applicants with application and onboarding process
• Assess incoming applications and resumes
• Screen potential applicants for available positions
• Complete drug screening and background checks for potential employees
• Facilitate onboarding activities and conduct orientations
• Maintain applicant and employee records via electronic system
• Build and develop positive relationships with Managers, Team Members, Employees, and Clients
