Job summary

Backyard Products, LLC is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join the People Operations team in our brand-new downtown St. Petersburg office. You will support recruiting efforts, coordinate interviews, and help deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

You will work with an energetic team, gain exposure to talent acquisition, and have opportunities to grow into a Recruiter role as you learn the business.

• Experience in office coordination or HR administration.
• Experience supporting recruiting processes is a plus.

We're building something exciting at Backyard Products, and we're looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and organized Recruiting Coordinator to join our growing People Operations team in our brand-new downtown St. Petersburg office!

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with office coordination, HR assistant, or recruiting support experience who loves working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build a career in Talent Acquisition and PeopleOperations.

You'll be joining a growing department where your ideas matter, your contributions make a difference, and there's real opportunity to grow into a future Recruiter role.

What You'll Do

• Support our recruiting team in finding and connecting with great candidates across the country.
• Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, follow-ups, and hiring activities.
• Help keep our recruiting systems, candidate pipelines, and hiring processes organized and running smoothly.
• Assist with daily office coordination and administrative support for our People Operations team.
• Help create an outstanding candidate experience from the first conversation through onboarding.
• Help build our recruiting brand, social media presence by gathering photos, employee stories, team highlights, and engaging content that showcases our people and culture.
• Assist in creating our team newsletter, collecting updates, celebrating accomplishments, and helping keep our employees informed and connected.
• Support the Chief People Officer and Director of Talent Acquisition with special projects and new initiatives.
• Learn the recruiting business firsthand while taking on new responsibilities as you grow.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in office coordination, HR administration, or recruiting support.
• An outgoing, positive personality with excellent communication skills.
• Someone who's organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
• Strong computer skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• A self-starter who takes initiative, enjoys solving problems, and loves being part of a team.
• Most importantly, someone who's enthusiastic, curious, and excited about building a career in recruiting!
