Mathis Home is seeking a Recruiter to manage the applicant tracking system, screen candidates, and coordinate background checks in Tulsa. The role supports payroll processing and HRIS data entry while liaising with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain applicant tracking system and update job postings.
• Screen and interview applicants using behavioral-based interviewing guidelines.
• Coordinate background checks and drug testing in Tulsa and surrounding areas.
• Enter and update HRIS records for hires, rehires, and transfers.
• Prepare payroll reports and process paychecks and direct deposits.
• Provide administrative support to the HR department.

Pay:$20-$23.50

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR RECRUITER

• Maintain applicant tracking system
• Attend job fairs
• Update online job boards (Indeed, College job boards, etc.)
• Work with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
• Screen and interview applicants using interview guidelines (behavioral based interviewing)
• Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants
• Coordinate and schedule background checks and drug testing in the Tulsa area and other areas as needed
• Enter and make changes for new employees, rehires, and transfers in HRIS (UKG)
• Assist with coordinating new hire employee orientation
• Ensure that human resource files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures
• Prepare job postings for hiring database as well as weekly internal job postings
• Provide administrative support to the Human Resource Department including, but not limited to, distributing mail, filing, faxing, and copying
• Sort and distribute paychecks
• Compile and input payroll information into HRIS
• Prepare payroll reports as needed, direct deposits, address changes, etc.
• Back up other Human Resource staff as needed

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR RECRUITER

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in all areas of human resource duties or equivalent education
• Experience in interviewing required
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years
• Positive attitude when working with customers
• Knowledge of employment.
• Must have Microsoft Excel knowledge.
