Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking a Recruiter to source, interview, and place associates with local businesses. You will perform candidate searches, conduct interviews, manage background checks, and coordinate onboarding while ensuring client and associate satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recruiting experience; staffing industry a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license, vehicle and auto insurance.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform searches for qualified candidates using databases, networking and referrals.
• Maintain communication with clients and associate employees to provide updates.
• Conduct interviews and complete necessary background checks.
• Assist with payroll issues and resolve incorrect hours with clients and staff.
• Provide coaching and counseling to associates to ensure performance and satisfaction.
• Document all applicant and client information accurately.
• Make first-day arrival calls and conduct weekly check-ins with temps.
• Adhere to branch best practices and processes to achieve goals.
• Take on other duties as assigned by the team.

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Recruiter for our branch office in Maryland Heights, MO. It will also include employee check-ins at the client sites and follow-up with our associate employees and our clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing:

• Perform searches for qualified candidates using computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, and employee referrals
  
• Maintain communication with clients and associate employees to keep them updated
• Perform interviews with potential candidates and conduct all necessary background checks
• Assist with payroll issues, contact clients and work with employees to fix any incorrect hours issues
• Provide coaching and counseling to associate employees as needed to ensure job performance and job satisfaction
• Document all applicant and client information accurately
• Perform 1st-day arrival calls, weekly temp calls, etc
• Adhere to company and local branch best practices and processes to achieve goals
• Other duties as assigned

What we look for:
