Job description

Gavin de Becker & Associates is a dynamic security firm innovating threat assessment and public figure protection. Our mission is to protect and enhance the lives of those we serve, including many of the world's most influential people. From media figures and corporations to universities and women’s shelters, GDBA stands on the front line of the assessment, prediction, and management of violence.

This is a full-time, remote position in our Recruitment, Selection, and Outreach Division.

Responsibilities:

1. Organize and manage information in our applicant tracking system
2. Source and contact potential candidates
3. Cultivate a list of key influencers to support the flow of applicants
4. Serve as the primary contact for all incoming questions
5. Provide information about GDBA's careers and culture
6. Conduct interviews, assess candidate fit, and provide placement recommendations

Who You Are:

1. Poised and self-assured, comfortable with cold calling, public speaking, and answering questions
2. Passionate about working with people and making a positive impact
3. Detail-oriented, with a flawless presentation
4. Organized, with a well-maintained schedule and a sense of daily accomplishment
5. Adaptable to schedule changes and technology issues
6. Proficient with software, especially applicant tracking systems (experience with Greenhouse and/or Smartsheet is a plus)
7. At least 1 year of recruitment experience in a similar industry (military, law enforcement, security, service, etc.)
8. Base salary ranges from $50k-$60k, depending on experience
