Job summary

Community Healthcare Network is seeking a Recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition team in New York, NY. You will develop innovative recruitment strategies, manage full-cycle processes, and partner with hiring managers to deliver a seamless candidate experience.

You will build diverse talent pipelines, facilitate interviews, and recommend candidates for hire while staying compliant with policies and industry best practices. This role requires 3–5 years HR experience, preferably in healthcare.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related discipline required.
  • Minimum of three to five years of prior Human Resources experience required.
  • Prior healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with hiring managers to assess workforce needs and develop effective recruitment and placement strategies.
  • Identifies, develops, and implements effective recruitment methods and sourcing strategies based on position requirements, to attract and hire qualified candidates.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including but not limited to the following.
  • Posts job openings across multiple recruitment platforms and proactively manages candidate pipelines.
  • Conducts screening and placement interviews and evaluates candidates' qualifications, and skills.
  • Coordinate interviews between hiring managers and candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Assists with recommending candidates for hire, promotion, and transfer, as appropriate.
  • Guides candidates through the interview and selection process by setting clear expectations, providing timely communication and feedback, and negotiates offers.
  • Conducts reference check, background screening, and pre-employment processes in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintains current knowledge of recruitment trends, employment laws, and human resources best practices through ongoing professional development, including participation in webinars, and industry networking events.
  • Participates in career fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives to promote the organization's employment opportunities.
  • Serves as a backup member of the onboarding team, providing support with new hire onboarding, orientations, and related post-offer activities as needed.
  • Performs other recruitment-related duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Recruiter is an integral member of the Talent Acquisition team, responsible for developing and executing innovative recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and hire high-quality talent across the organization. This role manages the full-cycle recruitment process, partnering closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and deliver a seamless, positive candidate experience.
