Job summary

Marshall Medical Center in Placerville, CA is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support smooth onboarding for new hires. You will manage onboarding, coordinate interviews, and assist with interview materials, while handling temporary staffing and contract requests.

You’ll work under the Director of Talent Acquisition with a focus on organization, communication, and timely processing. Prior healthcare HR exposure and familiarity with Workday/ATS are valued skills.

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years clerical/secretarial experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of basic Medical Terminology.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Workday experience preferred.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Knowledge of records maintenance and filing basics.
  • HR experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full onboarding cycle for all new hires.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews.
  • Assist with creating and formatting interview questions.
  • Assemble and deliver interview packets.
  • Process requests for temporary staffing and contracts.
  • Assist with regulatory research and special projects by the Director of Talent Acquisition.
  • Provide enthusiastic support to Recruitment team as needed.
  • Maintain courteous and professional interactions with candidates and managers.
  • Fill in for other Recruitment team members when required.

The Recruiting Coordinator performs duties to help ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires to Marshall Medical Center. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manages the full cycle of the onboarding process for all new hires.
  • Coordinates and schedules interviews.
  • Assists with creating and formatting interview questions.
  • Assembles and delivers interview packets.
  • Processes requests for temporary staffing and contract needs.
  • Assists with regulatory research and documentation and special projects as assigned by the Director of Talent Acquisition.
  • Willingly and enthusiastically provides support and assistance to the Recruitment team to support the needs of the department.
  • Consistently projects a courteous and professional demeanor when assisting candidates, hiring managers, employees, and co-workers.
  • Willingly fills in when needed for other members of the Recruitment team.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Licensure/Certification: H.S. diploma or GED and/or equivalent required.

Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 2 years clerical/secretarial experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • Knowledge of basic Medical Terminology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software programs required.
  • Experience with Workday systems preferred.
  • Experience with Application Tracking Software (ATS) systems.
  • Knowledge of basic records maintenance and retrieval systems, database management, and alpha-numeric filing preferred.
  • Human Resources experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills required.
  • Alpha-numeric filing.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions is required.
  • Ability to complete a multitude of tasks and assignments quickly and prioritize work effectively.
