Job summary

Valley Health System, serving Southern Nevada, seeks an HR Recruiter to lead recruitment and selection for exempt and nonexempt roles. You will develop effective recruiting strategies and ensure alignment with labor relations and HRIS processes.

The ideal candidate brings a four-year degree in HR/Business or equivalent experience, with 2+ years in HR disciplines and comfort with HRIS software. A union environment background is a plus and the team offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or other applicable degree. An equivalent amount of work experience may be substituted.
• Two years' experience in two or more HR functional areas including employment; union environment experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases and HRIS.
• No license or certification required.

Job Description:

Responsible for recruitment and selection of exempt and nonexempt positions by the development of effective recruiting strategies.

Qualifications

Education: Four-year college degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or other applicable degree program. An equivalent amount of work experience may be substituted for four-year degree.

Experience: Two year's experience in two or more functional areas of human resources to include employment. Experience in an environment with a union presence preferable.

Technical Skills: Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, and HRIS.

License/Certification: None

Other: Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state laws as they apply to human resources management.
