Job summary

ESS is seeking a recruiter to build a large pool of substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and school support staff for Savannah Chatham County Public School System. You will use proven methods to attract qualified candidates and extend offers to selected candidates.

Regular, in-person attendance is required. The role involves attending local career fairs, developing relationships with universities and professional organizations, and collaborating with the ESS team to fill positions efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in recruitment or similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

OVERVIEW

The successful candidate is responsible for exercising a variety of strategies to recruit a high volume of talented and qualified substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and school support staff to work with ESS clients within Savannah Chatham County Public School System.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Apply proven methods to identify, attract, and facilitate the hiring of qualified and diverse education professionals.
• Attend and recruit at local community and university career fairs within the county, paid for by company.
• Provide accurate and inspiring information to candidates about the company and available positions.
• Create and foster relationships with colleagues and diverse professional organizations to attract a diverse group of candidates with a focus on college graduates and certified teachers.
• Extend offers of employment to selected candidates.
• Work cooperatively with all members of the team.
• Complete special projects as needed.
• Regular, in-person attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in recruitment or similar field. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Must interact well with others.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experienced and confident speaking in groups and meeting new people.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
