Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our Human Resources team in Richmond, VA. You will source active and passive candidates, screen applicants, and present opportunities to qualified individuals.

You will lead employer branding efforts, attend local events, and manage job advertising strategies to attract diverse talent for our structural steel organization. This role emphasizes candidate experience and accurate recordkeeping in our ATS.

Formación

• 2+ years of talent acquisition experience in a high-volume environment.
• Previous recruiting experience in construction or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with candidates and employees at all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Source active and passive candidates and build a pipeline.
• Define search scopes with hiring managers to attract qualified candidates.
• Screen candidates and introduce them to the organization and career opportunities.
• Manage the Applicant Tracking System and maintain accurate records for each listing.

Our Recruiters are key members of the Human Resources team, focusing on sourcing, engaging, and onboarding talent for our growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing

• Use a variety of search tools to contact active and passive candidates to develop a pipeline of individuals with required skill sets.
• Scope and define candidate searches with hiring managers, ensuring qualified candidates are attracted and engaged.
• Conduct initial screenings to develop profiles for hiring managers and provide candidates with an introduction to the organization and career opportunities.

Employer Branding & Marketing

• Connect with local organizations and attend events representing the Kinsley Steel employer brand and team.
• Serve as a champion for the employee experience, seeking opportunities to bring awareness to career pathways with the company.
• Lead the marketing strategy for job listings to ensure advertising options, budgets, and recruiting tools are customized for the needs of each role.

Candidate Experience

• Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
• Proactively communicate with candidates and ensure a positive flow of information at each stage in the process.

Software Management & Recordkeeping

• Maximize usage of Applicant Tracking System, ensuring features are used for efficiency. Make recommendations for upgrades and changes to the system.
• Ensure pre- and post-offer records are accurately maintained and tracked for each job listing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of talent acquisition experience in a high-volume environment.
• Previous recruiting experience in construction or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with candidates and employees at all levels in the organization.
