Job summary

thyssenkrupp is seeking a recruiter to support the human resources function, focusing on recruitment, employment records, compliance, and policy administration. The role involves developing recruiting strategies, evaluating candidates, negotiating terms, and handling pre- and post-offer processes.

You will work with sales managers to identify staffing needs, manage contract employees, and maintain documentation in ATS while upholding company standards and competencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related experience as a Recruiter, Sales Representative, or HR Coordinator.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to relate information with clarity.
• Solid knowledge of basic employment laws.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and time and attendance systems.
• Preferred: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Professional HR or Recruiter certification/designation.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools.
• Evaluate candidates’ strengths compared with clients’ requirements by, evaluating, screening, and interviewing the candidate.
• Negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements.
• Complete necessary pre and post offer employment processes including reference checks, background/drug tests, new hire paperwork processing, and employee orientations.
• Manage contract employees while on assignment. Assess and investigate contractor related problems, and administer performance counseling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary.
• Work with Sales Managers to identify top accounts, target skill sets, key market segments, to assess clients’ staffing requirements.
• Communicate effectively with others in order to create a productive and diverse environment.
• Communicate with peers by sharing recruiting best practices and providing accurate, thorough documentation on contract employees in applicant tracking systems or other documentation tools.
• Maintain relationships with industry contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, and get referrals and sales leads.
