Job summary

Dixie Electric, Plumbing, Air and Doors is seeking an HVAC Recruiter to attract and hire skilled HVAC professionals. You will source, screen, and interview candidates for technicians, installers, and support staff, and manage the full-cycle recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience recruiting in HVAC or construction preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for various HVAC roles, including technicians, installers, and support staff
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through networking, job boards, and industry contacts
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create effective recruitment strategies
• Manage the entire hiring process, from posting job descriptions to extending offers
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate information in the applicant tracking system

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in recruiting, preferably within the HVAC or construction industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to assess technical skills and cultural fit of candidates
• Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
