About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Recruiter to join our Human Resources team supporting the Southeast Missouri region. This is a hybrid role requiring regular on-site presence at hospital locations, combined with remote work flexibility. As a recruiter, you will drive the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to job offers and onboarding coordination. You will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers and a knowledgeable point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment journey.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending job offers.
• Collaborate with department leaders to understand staffing needs and position requirements.
• Interpret and communicate compensation, benefits, job descriptions, and company policies to applicants.
• Attend and represent Mercy at recruitment events, both on- and off-campus.
• Maintain accurate records and databases related to recruitment and hiring.
• Assist in the implementation of HR strategies, policies, and best practices.
• Support hiring managers and HR leadership with co-worker relations and policy guidance.
• Provide support and answers to general HR-related inquiries from staff and leadership.
• Maintain a professional demeanor, exercise good judgment, and manage confidential information with integrity.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and recommend process improvements.
• Must be able to commute to Mercy hospitals in the Southeast Missouri region for on-site work.
