Job summary

Vinson Hall LLC in McLean, Virginia, seeks a Recruiter to join our HR team and support full-cycle recruitment for a premier retirement community. You will gather requirements from hiring managers, post openings, screen applicants, schedule interviews, and manage onboarding while ensuring compliance and a smooth candidate experience.

Collaboration with the HR Assistant and department managers is essential to deliver great hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent HR experience.
• 3 years of recruiting experience.
• 1 year HR experience in healthcare setting.
• 1 year HRIS/ATS experience; UKG Ready preferred.
• 1 year of reference and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for openings from hiring managers.
• Review job descriptions for accuracy and update with managers.
• Source applicants via job boards, websites, and education partners.
• Screen applicants and advise hiring managers on qualifications.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate paperwork.
• Ensure onboarding requirements are met for new hires (reference checks, background checks, etc.).
• Manage onboarding process including new hire paperwork and orientation.
• Coordinate with HR Assistant to ensure compliance.

We have an opening for Recruiter to join our HR team.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities:

• Gather initial requirements for new openings from hiring managers
• Review job descriptions for consistency with requirements and work with managers to update as needed
• Source applicants by posting openings as appropriate to various job boards, websites, education partners, etc.
• Screen applicants and make recommendations to hiring managers regarding qualified candidates
• Schedule interviews and collect corresponding paperwork
• Ensure all onboarding requirements such as reference checks, background checks, collect necessary paperwork, etc. are met for all potential new hires
• Manage the onboarding process, including new hire paperwork, orientation, etc.
• Coordinate with the HR Assistant to ensure compliance

Requirements

Candidates applying for this position should have:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience in HR required
• 3 years of recruiting experience required
• 1 year of experience working in HR in a healthcare organization required
• 1 year of experience working with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems; UKG Ready experience preferred
• 1 year of experience conducting reference and background checks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite required
• Excellent organizational and time management skills required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite required
• Professional certificate in Human Resources field (PHR) preferred.
