Pay Rate: $40.00 – $45.00 / hour

Contract Duration: 9 Months (Potential for extension or permanent hire)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

In this role, you will act as a strategic talent partner to hiring managers, leveraging data-driven attraction strategies, direct sourcing techniques, and modern AI-enabled recruitment tools to land top-tier talent.

This is a hybrid contract opportunity based in McLean, VA, offering significant day-to-day flexibility alongside a streamlined single-round interview process.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Lifecycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including active candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, reference checks, offer delivery, and onboarding integration.
• Strategic Partnership: Build trusted relationships with hiring managers to understand team mission priorities, forecast workforce needs, and advise on talent market dynamics.
• Direct Sourcing & Pipelining: Utilize advanced Boolean search strings, professional networks, social recruiting, and ATS tools to pipeline active and passive talent.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage Workday ATS and modern, AI-assisted recruitment tools to maximize efficiency and candidate engagement.
• Compliance: Ensure all talent acquisition activities comply with applicable federal/state employment laws, regulations, and internal company policies.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years of general recruitment and talent acquisition experience.
• Federal Experience: 2+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting specifically supporting clients in the federal government space.
• Systems: Hands-on experience navigating and managing workflows within Workday ATS.
• Sourcing Skills: Proven track record in direct sourcing, high-volume candidate engagement, and talent pipelining using Boolean logic and passive sourcing tactics.
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to federal contract guidelines).
