540 is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support hiring across software engineering, cloud, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, data, and AI/ML disciplines. This individual will partner with recruiting leadership and hiring managers to build talent pipelines, source qualified candidates, conduct recruiter screens, and support hiring efforts for both cleared and uncleared roles.
This role is best suited for a recruiter with strong sourcing capabilities who is comfortable operating independently, managing multiple priorities, and supporting highly technical hiring needs within federal consulting and GovTech environments.
This position will begin as a contract engagement supporting the Talent team during a period of transition and growth. While the role is initially expected to last approximately 3–4 months, future opportunities for contract extension or full-time employment may be considered based on business needs and performance.
Location: Arlington, VA (hybrid) with in-person meetings 1-2x per week at 540 HQ
Citizenship & Work Authorization: Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or otherwise authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
