Job summary

Prosum is seeking an entry-level Recruiter for a direct hire in Manhattan Beach. The role is onsite 5 days a week, offering the chance to break into private equity recruiting and grow into an executive recruiter role within the portfolio.

Responsibilities include leading full-cycle searches, partnering with executives, and building a strong candidate pipeline across multiple functions. The position emphasizes direct sourcing, stakeholder communication, and adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years recruiting experience in high-growth or SaaS environments.
• Experience hiring across multiple functions (Sales, CS, Marketing, Finance, HR, Product, etc.).
• Proven ability to build and manage a high-volume candidate pipeline.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Experience with direct sourcing (LinkedIn Recruiter or equivalent) and full-cycle recruiting.
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to conduct candidate and market research.

Our Private Equity client in Manhattan Beach is seeking to hire an Entry Level Recruiter for a direct hire opportunity. The position is onsite 5 days in Manhattan Beach.

This is a dynamic, high-visibility role ideal for someone who is passionate about recruiting, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to grow into an executive recruiter role within private equity recruiting. This is a great opportunity to break into private equity early in your career!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle searches from kickoff to close, across Manager-level to VP-level roles
• Partner with portfolio company executives and deal partners in leading searches end to end across the portfolio including phone/video/onsite interviews, managing all communication/coordination with candidates, scheduling/travel, conducting references/back channels, formal assessments, closing candidates, etc.
• Build a pipeline of qualified candidates through direct sourcing, referrals, and inbound applicants
• Proactively introduce prospective candidates to both internal and external stakeholders. Maintain a pulse on the current and future needs of our companies- serve as a talent partner in the enterprise software space
• Support execution of search best practices: update emails, candidate tracking, and stakeholder communication
• Display strong industry acumen, including knowledge of SaaS roles, org structures, and functional expertise

Requirements:
