Agrace is hiring a Recruiter to support staffing needs in Madison, Wisconsin through a hybrid schedule. In this role, you will screen applicants, interview and assess candidates, and work closely with department managers and Talent Acquisition Specialists to create sourcing plans for assigned positions. You will also help ensure candidates move smoothly through hiring and onboarding, including support leading into a new hire’s first day of employment.
What You’ll Do
- Screen applicants using an applicant tracking system to evaluate and move candidates through the process
- Manage inquiries and answer questions from potential job seekers
- Build and maintain qualified candidate pools to help fill open roles efficiently
- Assist with full cycle hiring, including screening, selecting, scheduling, and interviewing
- Ensure recruiting activities align with Agrace’s commitment to equity
- Deliver job offers verbally and in writing, and respond to candidate negotiations
- Follow up on new hire paperwork with the HR Coordinator to ensure requirements are met
- Perform reference and professional credential checks
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists and hiring managers to develop a sourcing plan for assigned positions
- Participate in community events (job fairs, chamber and school events, community groups) to connect with active and passive candidates
- Run recruitment campaigns through the applicant tracking system, direct mail, and other identified sources
- Maintain professional profiles on social media and build professional networks for assigned business areas
- Use creative sourcing strategies that support an inclusive and diverse workforce
- Provide a strong candidate experience for potential candidates, candidates, hiring managers, and business leaders
- Participate in internal work groups, meetings, and committees related to position responsibilities
- Serve as backup to the HR Coordinator for processing post-offer requirements
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or an equivalent education/experience combination in a related field required
- Prior recruitment and human resource experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
- Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others
- Experience using industry specific software
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Flexibility in time and task to meet organizational needs

Schedule and Location
- Location: Madison, WI (hybrid)
- Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
- Days: Monday-Friday
- Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
