Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sr. HR Generalist with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition to support and grow our workforce in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will spend approximately 50% of the time leading full‑cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support, while also contributing to broader HR Generalist and administrative functions.

Primary Responsibilities (Talent Acquisition – approximately 50%)
- Lead full‑cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions, from requisition intake through onboarding
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies
- Source candidates using job boards, ATS platforms, social media, networking tools, and referrals
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate feedback and next steps
- Schedule interviews, manage calendars, and facilitate communication between candidates and interview teams
- Assist in preparing and extending offers, including coordination of pre‑employment requirements
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Represent the organization at career fairs, community events, and networking opportunities
- Track and report recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill, candidate pipeline health, and hiring outcomes
Secondary Responsibilities (Sr. HR Generalist & Administrative Support)
- Support employee onboarding, orientation, and training coordination
- Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations and day‑to‑day HR inquiries
- Provide HR administrative support, including documentation and record maintenance
- Support performance management processes and annual HR cycles
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and cross‑functional HR projects
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and prioritize effectively
- Experience in employee relations, performance management, and recruitment
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- PHR or SHRM certification preferred
Experience & Background
- 2–5 years of experience in recruiting, recruitment coordination, or HR Generalist roles
- Proven experience supporting full‑cycle recruiting in a high‑volume environment
- HR Generalist experience preferred
- Manufacturing environment experience is considered a strong asset
- Experience supporting multiple business groups or sites is an asset
Technical Skills
- Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms such as ADP and/or Workday preferred
- Proficiency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
