Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition intake through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, hiring timelines, and workforce planning objectives.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates across manufacturing, operations, engineering, skilled trades, supply chain, finance, HR, and corporate functions.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, industry associations, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and assess qualifications, experience, technical capabilities, and cultural alignment.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Guide hiring managers through the interview and selection process, providing market insights and recruiting recommendations.
  • Manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers in partnership with HR leadership and hiring managers.
  • Support pre-employment activities, including background checks, employment verification, and onboarding coordination.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within the ATS.
  • Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline activity, and hiring outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and applicable hiring regulations.
  • Assist with maintaining job descriptions, recruiting templates, interview guides, and hiring documentation.
  • Participate in recruiting process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring positions.
  • Develop relationships with trade schools, technical programs, colleges, universities, workforce development organizations, and industry associations.
  • Support recruiting events, career fairs, hiring events, community outreach programs, and networking opportunities.
  • Maintain awareness of labor market trends, compensation data, and competitive hiring practices.
  • Partner with HR, hiring managers, and business leaders to support organizational growth and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Provide guidance regarding recruiting best practices, interviewing techniques, and candidate evaluation.
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.

The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full‑cycle recruitment process across a variety of positions supporting manufacturing, operations, engineering, corporate, and professional functions. This role partners closely with hiring managers to identify talent needs, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver a positive candidate experience while ensuring timely and effective hiring outcomes.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and relationship‑focused, with experience recruiting in a fast‑paced environment. Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, defense, or skilled trades hiring is highly desirable. This role requires strong sourcing capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience recruiting in manufacturing, industrial, skilled trades, engineering, logistics, distribution, or other fast‑paced operational environments.
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates through multiple recruiting channels.
  • Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Agency recruiting or staffing experience.
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, manufacturing, industrial, or government contracting organizations.
  • Human Resources experience, including onboarding, employee relations, compensation, or HR operations.
  • Experience recruiting cleared personnel or candidates eligible for security clearances.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) contracting environments and workforce requirements.
  • Familiarity with OFCCP, affirmative action, and employment compliance requirements.
  • Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, and skilled trade positions.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS, or related recruiting certifications.
