Job summary

The Addison Group is seeking a Contract Recruiter for a 1-2 month assignment in Oakdale, MN (Hybrid). This role supports the driver recruiting process from initial review through screens and background checks.

You will source candidates, manage applicants in the ATS, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and help move candidates through the hiring process while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting or candidate screening is required.
• Experience with driver recruiting or transportation hiring is a plus.
• Familiarity with recruiting systems and ATS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review candidate applications and source qualified candidates for open driver positions.
• Manage and review applicants through the ATS platform.
• Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and interest.
• Identify qualified candidates and coordinate next-round interviews with hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Review candidate applications and source qualified candidates for open driver positions.
• Manage and review applicants through the ATS platform.
• Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and interest.
• Identify qualified candidates and coordinate next-round interviews with hiring managers.
• Initiate background checks and help move candidates through the recruiting process.

Qualifications

• Previous recruiting, talent acquisition, or candidate screening experience preferred.
• Experience with driver recruiting or transportation industry hiring is a plus.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking and recruiting systems preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and driver qualification requirements preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively with a recruiting team.
