Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers is seeking an entry-level Recruiter I to support talent acquisition for behavioral health, residential, and support roles across DTAC locations. The role is primarily remote with periodic travel to job fairs and partner sites.

You will partner with hiring managers to source, screen, and hire qualified candidates, while also assisting with onboarding and HR administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, human services, or high-volume environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driver license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel locally for recruiting events is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for entry-level, direct care, clinical support, and administrative positions.
  • Create and post job advertisements across recruiting platforms.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
  • Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Prepare employment offers and communicate offer details to candidates.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records in the ATS.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for frequently recruited positions.
  • Track recruiting metrics and candidate progression through the process.
  • Represent DTAC at job fairs, college recruiting events, and community hiring initiatives.
  • Develop partnerships with colleges, universities, workforce agencies, and community organizations.
  • Support new hire onboarding activities and employment documentation.
  • Assist with employee records maintenance and HR administrative responsibilities.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Recruiter I

POSITION SUMMARY

The Recruiter is responsible for supporting DTAC's talent acquisition efforts by managing full-cycle recruiting activities for behavioral health, residential, and support positions across multiple locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring programs remain fully staffed to support high-quality care for the individuals DTAC serves. This position is ideal for an early-career recruiting professional who is highly organized, self-motivated, and eager to grow within Human Resources. The Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to identify, attract, and hire qualified candidates while also assisting with onboarding and other HR-related administrative functions. While primarily remote, the position requires periodic travel to job fairs, recruiting events, educational institutions, and DTAC locations as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, human services, or other high-volume environments preferred.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms preferred.
  • Valid driver license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel locally for recruiting events REQUIRED.
