Job summary

Custom Goods Logistics (CGL) is seeking a Recruiter with 2–3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role owns requisitions from intake through offer for warehouse, driver, and corporate positions, partnering closely with Hiring Managers to deliver a strong, compliant, and efficient hiring process.

Experience recruiting in logistics, transportation, distribution, or other high-volume environments is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience (in-house or agency).
• Experience recruiting in logistics, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing, or high-volume environments preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting — intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer, and pre-boarding — for assigned requisitions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements across warehouse, transportation, and corporate departments.
• Source active and passive candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and school/trade partnerships.
• Maintain accurate requisitions and candidate pipelines in the ATS.
• Conduct phone and in-person screens, and coordinate interview panels.
• Support driver positions with DOT/FMCSA requirements, including MVR reviews and background checks.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-volume roles.
• Represent CGL at job fairs and community events as needed.
• Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, requisition aging) and report on progress.
• Contribute to employer branding and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Coordinate with HR on onboarding logistics.

This role owns requisitions from intake through offer for a mix of warehouse, driver, and corporate positions, partnering closely with hiring managers to deliver a strong, compliant, and efficient hiring process. Experience recruiting in logistics, transportation, distribution, or another high-volume/blue-collar environment is strongly preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage full-cycle recruiting — intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer, and pre-boarding — for assigned requisitions.
• Partner with hiring managers across warehouse, transportation/driver, and corporate departments to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
• Source active and passive candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, community organizations, and school or trade-program partnerships.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date requisitions and candidate pipelines in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Conduct phone and in-person screens, and coordinate interview panels with hiring managers.
• Support hiring for Class A/B CDL driver positions in accordance with DOT/FMCSA requirements, coordinating MVR reviews, background checks, and required documentation.
• Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles.
• Represent CGL at job fairs, community hiring events, and driver recruiting events as needed.
• Track and report on recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and requisition aging.
• Contribute to employer branding efforts and help ensure a positive, professional candidate experience.
• Coordinate with HR on new hire onboarding logistics and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience; agency or in-house experience both considered.
• Experience recruiting in logistics, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing, or another high-volume environment strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and standard sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job board platforms).
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA hiring requirements for driver positions is a plus; willingness to learn is required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of requisitions and candidates simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, candidate-focused approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).

PHYSICAL / WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Primarily an office environment with occasional time on the warehouse floor or at offsite hiring events.
• Some local travel may be required for job fairs and community recruiting events.
