Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Physician Recruiter to manage the full-cycle recruitment and placement of medical doctors and Advanced Practice Providers for a large healthcare provider and research organization. You will source candidates, build pipelines, coordinate interviews and site visits, and assist with contract and compensation negotiations.

This role is mostly remote, with onsite meetings in Brookline, MA as needed, requiring strong communication, talent sourcing, and relationship

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle physician and APP recruiting experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Source Candidates: Find qualified Physicians and APPs using job boards, databases, residency programs, social media, and direct outreach.
• Screen & Assess: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and evaluate candidate alignment with clinical requirements.
• Manage Pipeline: Maintain active relationships with medical talent and track openings using applicant tracking systems.
• Coordinate Interviews: Organize site visits, interviews, and meet-and-greets with local department chairs and hospital leadership.
• Facilitate Negotiations: Provide compensation market data and guide offer discussions between the candidate and the facility.
• Support Onboarding: Assist with credentialing handoffs, licensing requirements, and relocation coordination.
