Akron Children's in Akron, OH is seeking an Associate Provider Recruiter to support the recruitment of physicians and advanced practice providers. You will partner with Provider Recruiters across the full recruitment cycle, from posting opportunities to coordinating interviews and relocation support.

This hybrid, full-time role emphasizes a positive candidate experience, data integrity in ATS/CRM, and collaboration with hiring leaders to develop targeted recruitment strategies.

Qualifications

  • 3 years' healthcare recruitment experience.
  • Provider recruitment experience preferred.
  • AAPPR within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Provider Recruiters to support the full-cycle recruitment of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, pre-boarding, and relocation support.
  • Attend intake meetings with assigned recruiters and hiring leaders to help develop comprehensive recruitment strategies.
  • Create and maintain compelling job postings for career sites and external job boards, ensuring accuracy and market competitiveness.
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, residency programs, conferences, and referrals to build pipelines.
  • Maintain candidate records in ATS/CRM with data entry, status updates, documentation, and reporting for data integrity and compliance.
  • Coordinate itineraries and communication with candidates and internal stakeholders for a seamless experience.
  • Provide day-of interview support, including greeting, scheduling, and benefits overview presentations.
  • Assist with pre-boarding processes including onboarding documentation and background checks.
  • Support recruitment operations, track activity, prepare reports, manage calendars, and update metrics.
  • Collaborate with recruiters, department coordinators, hiring managers, and partners to ensure alignment and efficient execution.
  • Serve as backup to Senior Provider Recruiters for interviews and conferences.

  • Create and maintain compelling job postings for career sites and external job boards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and market competitiveness.
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, residency and fellowship programs, conferences, and referral networks to build strong candidate pipelines.
  • Accurately maintain candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and CRM, including data entry, status updates, documentation, and reporting to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Assist with the Coordination and confirm itineraries, and communication with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Provide day-of interview support, including greeting and escorting candidates, facilitating interview schedules, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with benefit overviews and organizational presentations.
  • Assist with pre-boarding processes, including onboarding documentation, background check coordination, and ongoing communication to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance to start date.
  • Support general recruitment operations, including tracking recruitment activity, preparing reports, managing calendars, updating recruitment metrics, and ensuring timely completion of administrative tasks.
  • Work closely with recruiters, department coordinators, hiring managers, and external partners to ensure alignment, clear communication, and efficient execution of recruitment activities.
  • Serve as backup to Senior Provider Recruiters by supporting interviews, off-site meetings, and conferences, including candidate coordination, logistics management, and representing the recruitment team as needed.
