Job summary

Index Analytics is seeking an Experienced Recruiter to act as a strategic talent advisor for administrative and technical roles. You will partner with hiring leaders, own end-to-end requisitions, and ensure a positive candidate experience that strengthens our employer brand.

This remote-first role supports a US-wide workforce. You’ll navigate changing priorities, provide market insights, and drive sourcing strategies while upholding compliance and high service levels across multiple searches.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across admin and technical roles.
  • Experience using ATS to manage pipelines and ensure compliance.
  • Proven ability to assess talent and influence hiring decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions with high service levels.
  • Strong sourcing using Boolean search, networking and referrals.
  • Experience leading intake meetings with hiring managers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with candidates and stakeholders.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Recruiter at Index, you are the strategic talent advisor connecting the right people to the right opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Represent Index professionally and credibly to candidates, providing timely communication, setting clear expectations and serving as an ambassador for the organization's culture, mission and brand.
  • Own assigned requisitions end to end for corporate, program support, administrative and professional roles, from intake through accepted offer and confirmed start date. Provide regular reporting on requisition status, pipeline health and time-to-fill metrics, proactively identifying hiring risks and recommending solutions to achieve hiring objectives.
  • Lead structured intake conversations with hiring managers to define must-have versus preferred qualifications, evaluation criteria and realistic market expectations before sourcing begins
  • Source, attract and engage qualified candidates through direct outreach, referrals, the applicant tracking system and job boards to build talent pipelines that support current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments to evaluate qualifications, relevant experience and alignment with position requirements
  • Coordinate interviews across stakeholders and time zones for a remote workforce and facilitate debriefs that produce documented, criteria-based decisions
  • Advise stakeholders on interviewing best practices, inclusive hiring, sourcing strategies and candidate engagement
  • Prepare competitive offer recommendations within approved compensation guidelines and secure candidate acceptance by highlighting the full scope of the opportunity, including mission, culture, benefits and career development potential
  • Evaluate and recommend recruiting technologies and automation opportunities that improve recruiter productivity.
  • Collaborate with HR Operations to manage post-offer activities and ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and on time, supporting a successful onboarding experience.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with EEO, OFCCP, federal contracting and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications: REQUIRED
  • U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States, without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience
  • 5+ years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience supporting administrative and technical roles, including sourcing and hiring talent in hard-to-fill, niche and highly competitive markets.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to assess talent, influence hiring decisions and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial engagement through offer acceptance.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent requisitions across competing priorities while maintaining a high level of service and responsiveness.
  • Strong sourcing expertise utilizing Boolean search techniques, professional networking, employee referrals, talent communities, social platforms and other passive candidate engagement strategies.
  • Skilled in leading intake meetings and partnering with hiring managers to define talent needs, refine job requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and maintain clear, timely communication with candidates and stakeholders.
PREFERRED
  • Experience using Paycom ATS.
  • Recruiting experience within government contracting or other highly regulated industry
  • Experience supporting a remote, geographically dispersed workforce across multiple states.
  • Familiarity with federal contract labor categories, position mapping and the relationship between contract requirements and candidate qualifications.
  • Experience supporting proposal-driven, contingent, or surge hiring initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS CIR, CIRA or a similar recruiting or human resources credential.
COMPENSATION

The salary range provided represents the anticipated compensation for this role and applies across all geographic locations. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, internal equity and market conditions.

LOCATION AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is remote-first and open to candidates residing in the United States. Occasional travel and on-site presence may be required to support recruiting events, hiring activities, or other organizational needs. Standard business hours are aligned with EST; however, the position may require availability outside normal business hours during periods of peak hiring activity or other business-critical situations.
