Job summary

Description

This position will support our Gresham and Glendoveer sites. The Recreational Therapist provides a variety of therapeutic social, recreational and diversional events for participants. She/he conducts individual assessments to identify participants' interests and needs, develops and implements appropriate individual and group activities, participates in interdisciplinary care planning, coordinates recreation documentation, assists with training and supervising volunteers or interns, and leads facility‑wide participant‑centered events.

Mon‑Friday Day shift

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months of hire: National Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist – National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years providing recreation services to the elderly or disabled.

Salary

Pay range: $28.41 – $43.47 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, overtime, and other incentives.
