Job Summary and Qualifications

The Recreational Therapist plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates a comprehensive program of therapeutic recreation activities under the supervision of the Clinical Manager. The therapist must effectively and therapeutically interact with adult and geriatric patients, significant others, and other health care team members and demonstrate knowledge of the specific psychosocial conditions and treatment therapies for the patient populations served.

Qualifications

• 4-year/Bachelor’s Degree, required
• Experience preferred
• Recreation Therapist or Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, required
• Crisis Intervention Prevention (CPI), required
