Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Observe and discuss with patient and loved ones.
• Execute a therapy program tailored to the patient.
• Keep up-to-date on resources to aid patients.
• Document patient progress during activities.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED FROM THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THERAPUTIC CERTIFICATON (NCTRC) OR THE CALIFORNIA BOARD OF RECREATON AND PARK CERTIFICATION (CBRPC)

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs
• Consider medical records
• Personal observation and talks with the patient and his or her loved ones
• Execute a therapeutic program targeted toward what that patient requires most
• Keep current on communal and therapeutic resources available to best help the patients
• Document a patient's progress during their activities
